Welcome to the Open Minds Lab, a young and dynamic research lab at the University of Pittsburgh. We aim to solve high-impact biomedical challenges leveraging our expertise in medical image analysis, signal processing, machine learning, biostatistics and data science. With a preference for cost-effective and clinically optimal solutions, we seek to improve patient outcomes with novel multidisciplinary techniques and decision support systems via quality, reproducible, and open science.
We are located at the University of Pittsburgh in the Department of Radiology, the birthplace of Pittsburgh compound B (PiB) and a ton of other exciting research.
We are looking for passionate team members to join the team (more info) !
We are grateful for funding from the University of Pittsburgh, Department of Radiology and the Pitt Alzheimer’s Disease Research Center (ADRC).
We are thrilled to annouce Dr. Dan Lurie (UC Berkeley) would be joining us as a postdoctoral fellow. Can't wait to be part of all the amazing work Dan would be producing.
